Piston rod: The piston rod is the main component of the rebound hydraulic cylinder. The material is generally medium carbon steel (such as steel 45). When the cylinder is working, the piston rod is subject to thrust, tension or bending moment, and strength is necessary. It often slides on the guide sleeve and the piston rod. The fit is suitable. It is too tight, the friction is too large, and it is too loose. It is easy to cause stagnation and uneven wear. This requires surface roughness, roundness and straightness. Therefore, the process of the piston rod is usually the adjustment of the rough car, semi-refining car, quenching, pre-plating, chrome plating, polishing, etc.

The piston is the main component that converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy, and its effective working area directly affects the force and speed of the rebound hydraulic cylinder. Piston and piston rod are connected together in various forms, usually with snap ring type, sleeve type and nut type. When there is no guide ring, the piston uses high strength cast iron HT200 ~ 300 or ductile iron; when there is a guide ring, the piston uses high quality carbon steel 20, 35 and 45. The guide sleeve plays the role of guiding and supporting the piston rod. It requires high precision, small friction resistance, wear resistance, and can withstand the pressure, bending force and impact vibration of the piston rod. The sealing device is installed to ensure that the rod cavity is sealed in the cylinder. The outside is equipped with a dust ring to prevent impurities, dust and moisture from being brought into the sealing device and damaging the sealing device. Metal guide bushes generally use small friction coefficient, good wear-resistant copper, gray cast iron, ductile iron, cast iron, etc. Non-metallic guide bushes can use polytetrafluoroethylene and polyfluorochloroethylene. Cushioning device: hydraulically driven piston and piston rod have good momentum when entering the cylinder end.
